Mosquito Coast /
AW26
Mosquito Coast follows travelers leaving winter for a tropical destination that looks like paradise but isn't quite one. It captures the moment of landing somewhere new, still dressed for the season you left behind. The collection is about seasonal misalignment. Wool skirts carry traces of silk summer dresses, tailored trousers end in jogger cuffs, and garments are doubled: two bikinis, two halter dresses, two T-shirt dresses, worn together until they become warm enough but never quite right. Silk panels attach to wool bodies, zippers wrap from front to back, and closures multiply, so dressing becomes a negotiation rather than a decision. At its center is the traveler who is neither tourist nor local, always slightly out of sync. Rather than offering escape, the collection lingers in discomfort: waiting, jet lag, the awkward hours before check-in. Paradise is close, but not accessible yet. You are still carrying winter. Mosquito Coast is not about arrival, but about suspension — dressed for where you were, while imagining where you might go next.
Boarding Pass /
AW26 & SS26
On Sunday, February 8, 2026, Fey Fey Worldwide presented Boarding Pass, an immersive fashion facsimile structured as an airplane boarding process at EARTH, located at 49 Orchard Street in New York’s Chinatown. The presentation reframed the fashion show as a queue—an everyday choreography of bodies lining up, waiting, and moving forward together. Rather than a traditional runway, the space was reconfigured into a boarding zone. Folding chairs fitted with custom covers formed loose clusters, creating a maze-like circulation path. Guests were “boarded” first, while late arrivals were treated as standby passengers and admitted as space allowed—collapsing the boundary between audience and performer. The performance featured selected looks from the S/S26 and A/W26 collections. Garments functioned simultaneously as fashion and narrative device, embodying characters in transit: The Sleeper—the fatigued traveler; The Accumulator—the anxious passenger burdened by excess; The Starlet—a narcissistic archetype jet-setting to avoid self-reflection; The Engineer—a rogue technologist reclaiming control over urban life; The Flight Attendant—an airborne emissary; alongside minor figures such as the coughing passenger, the iPad-watching passenger, and the in-flight exercise enthusiast.
Take Off /
SS26
The Spring/Summer 2026 collection, titled "Take Off" is Fey Fey Worldwide’s most expansive to date, intended for those with no fixed identity or return address. Inspired by strangers often encountered in transit, the collection materializes through fictional characters: an accumulator, a starlet, sleeper, a timezone shifter and an imaginative airline pilot. Each piece is a wearable souvenir, made for life’s in-betweens.
Packing On The Go /
SS25
What happens when city girls go camping, not prepared or practical, but stepping into something like an uncanny dream? They don’t pack. They pick things up along the way. What they find isn’t survival gear. It’s stones: odd ones, solid and impractical, yet somehow essential. A collection begins. Fey Fey Worldwide’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection, “Packing on the Go,” explores this contradiction between the pull of the outdoors and the absurdity of arriving unprepared. The pieces take bags as their starting point and treat them abstractly rather than practically. Backpacks become graphic straps on shirts. Drawstring bags turn into voluminous shoulder dresses. Picnic bundles are draped into hybrid skirts and long gowns. Utility bags are remade with handmade netting to hold trinkets, keychains and plushies, souvenirs from a journey with no plan. At the centre of the collection is the Packing Listing print, an all-over print of stones whose shapes stand in for the “essentials” of this imagined trip. It suggests that the only things worth carrying are the ones that can’t be used. The stones also appear as plushies, soft keepsakes from a trip that was never about the destination. Alongside these pieces are graphic tees printed with Mermaid, Unicorn and Faerie. They stand for the city girl’s imagined wild side, a brief escape into the mythical woven into the journey. “Packing on the Go” is for people who meet the unknown with curiosity and find meaning in what others overlook. After all, what is a packing list if you never needed to pack?
Kids Forever /
AW24
Fey Fey Worldwide’s Autumn/Winter 2024 collection, “Kids Forever,” questions conventional maturity. Familiar adult garments, sharp blazer sets and cocktail dresses, are altered to sit awkwardly in the adult world. Shoulders are narrowed, ties are doubled, and glove-shaped pockets appear in unexpected places. In keeping with the brand’s practice, transformable elements and sheer materials appear in inappropriate places. The campaign stages a simulated rave. The images look like a party photographer’s candid shots, but every detail is arranged. This planned chaos reflects the collection’s theme of deliberate incongruity.
Showtime /
SS24
September 12, 2023, at 8:00PM, Fey Fey Worldwide premieres SHOWTIME, a mockumentary film narrating the process behind the making of an imaginary fashion show, as an integral part of Fey Fey Worldwide’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection titled a soft fashion designer. SHOWTIME is directed by Lishan Liu and co-written by Liby Hays. All cast members are friends and actual participants in the fashion industry who play themselves. They are in clothes from Fey Fey Worldwide S/S 24. A soft fashion designer is an exposé of how Fey Fey sees herself as a fashion designer: a hero, a witch, or a confused person who can’t really make a decision nor a statement. The collection features ultra-soft textiles that conform to no absolute shape and punctuation-shaped pockets to convey the statement instead of words. The studio’s operation isn’t seamless, but it is compact enough to fit inside a giant cardboard box.
